Miriam Casillas wins in Madrid and qualifies for the European Sub 23

Miriam Casillas he shone yesterday at the Casa de Campo in the capital of Spain by winning the Madrid Triathlon. The Badajoz triathlete won the elite test in the Olympic distance and obtains the direct ticket for the European Under 23 that will be held in Águilas on September 1 and 2.

In addition, it has been selected for its first World Cup, to be held in Banyoles (Girona) on June 17. On the other hand, Águeda Rodríguez, from Cáceres Triathlon, finished fifth and second Sub 23 behind Casillas.

In the men's event, Javier Barragán (Triathlon Cáceres), was 29º. This Sunday, in the women's category, and Monday, the men's, the third round of the World Championship is held in sprint distance, qualifying for the Olympic trio ranking of the Spanish team at the London Games.
