This weekend the Gipuzkoa sprint triathlon championship is celebrated

The Zumaia triathlon in its 7 edition will also be the Gipuzkoa 2013 championship in sprint distance

This coming Saturday, 7 in September, will be celebrated in Zumaia the seventh edition of his triathlon. This triathlon will be in sprint distance (750m-20km-5km). It will be organized by the Zumaiako Triatloi Taldea, the Gipuzkoako Triatloi Federazioa and the Euskadiko Triatloi Federazioa. In addition, it will be the Gipuzkoa 2013 Championship in sprint distance, being the penultimate scoring round for the Euskal Herria circuit this season.

The test will begin at 18:15 p.m. in the female category and at 18:30 p.m. in the male category. The 750m. of the first swimming segment they will run through the estuary in a round trip circuit, with the beginning in the direction of the mouth on the left bank, returning to the pits on the right bank to start the second segment. The second segment will be a circuit on the bike of 20 km. in a round trip "break legs" between Zumaia and Aizarnazabal. Before the end of the test and after going through the boxes, they will have to face the last 5km. giving two laps of a 2,5km route. race on foot, along the walk parallel to the estuary before reaching the finish line.

Also previously, we will hold a popular super sprint distance triathlon (350m-10km-2,5km) that will start at 17: 00 hours. This year being its second edition. Being a test designed for people who want to start in this sport and / or who are without federation.
