Celebrated in Posadas the Annual Gala of the Andalusian Triathlon

Last Saturday was held in Posadas (Córdoba) the Annual Andalucian Triathlon Gala organized by Andalusian Triathlon Federation, in which prizes and special mentions were given to the best Andalusian triathletes during the 2012 year.

The Tri-Marbella Bike Club was widely represented in it.

During the celebration of the gala, the club was awarded as runner-up of the Andalusian triathlon circuit.

Bruno Raso was awarded as absolute runner-up of the circuit and Antonio Ostos as champion in veterans category.

In addition, they received their trophies and prizes in sports equipment the boys from the Marbella triathlon school, Dominic Campos, Lucia and Álvaro Calvente, Rebecca Rajki, Belén López and Guillermo Navarro.

They received special mention for the great season made by the young paratriathlete Jorge Otalecu and the cadet girls belonging to the Andalusian triathlon team, Marina Castro, Paula Ortega and Raquel García, who won, last June, the Spanish Championship held in Punta Umbria (Huelva).

With these acknowledgments to the sporting merits obtained by the local triathlon club, they make it the regional revelation.

Remember that on a national level, the male team of Tri-Marbella Bike managed to be among the ten best clubs in Spain with the promotion to national division of honor. In addition, the women's team achieved promotion to the second national division.

Also, the female cadet team made up of Marina Castro, Sara López and María del Carmen Díaz were proclaimed champions of Spain by teams.
