The season begins in Euskadi with 39 tests

Next weekend, 8 in February, will start a new season in Euskadi with 39 tests.

As far as the sports events organized by the Euskadiko Triatloi Federazioa are concerned, thirty-nine will be held in duathlon, in triathlon, in duathlon cross and also in aquathlon, throughout the whole of Euskadi, since the month from February to the month of September.

The duathlon season will consist of fourteen races in sprint distance, short and long, in the months of February, March, April, May and September. Nine will be held in Bizkaia and five in Gipuzkoa. Together with the circuit, Euskadi duathlon championships will be held in all modalities.

The triathlon season, on the other hand, will have its beginning on May 3, coinciding with the end of the duathlon season, and will end at the end of September. During these five months, twenty-three tests will be held. Eight will be in Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, and one in Alaba. Together with the circuit, Euskadi triathlon championships will be held in all modalities, not forgetting the long distance will also have its presence in the towns of Getxo, Bilbo and Garaio in Bizkaia, Zarautz in Gipuzkoa and Gasteiz in Álava. Along with these triathlons, the Women's Triathlon will also be held in Donostia.

The Aquathlon Basque Championship will be held once again in the Bizkaia town of Plentzia on the 13 in July and the Euskadi championship on duathlon cross in the Bizkaia town of Galdakao at the end of September.
