The most competitive POLAR Team in history triumphs in the millennium Titan Desert by Gaes 2013

Since the beginning of February, the names of the 9 members of the POLAR Team who would participate in the Titan Desert, emotions have been present in the day to day of the real protagonists of the campaign "POLAR takes you on an adventure".

Having acquired the star model POLAR RC3 GPS and have been winners of the draw in mid-January between more than 800 enrolled to the promotion, they passed the selection tests and were awarded one of the 9 reserved seatss for the POLAR Team in the Titan Desert.

Gorka Romero, Alberto Fdez. De la Puebla, Joan Ribas, Alejandro Delgado, Miguel Salas, Marcos Pastor, Sandra Santanyes, Claudia Galicia y Alaitz Barrena They knew that they were going to represent POLAR in this adventure and that they were going to live one of the most incredible sports experiences of their lives. What they did not expect was what happened last week in the Moroccan desert.

From the first moment, the 9 have lived the Titan Desert as a team, always looking for the success of the group beyond the individual objectives. The 6 stages, each more demanding, have joined the members of the POLAR Team with the passage of time. They have fought against the strong wind present in each stage, they have adapted to the demands of the terrain, they have competed with professionals but above all they have competed against themselves demonstrating how far they are able to arrive as individuals and as a team.

From POLAR we want to congratulate the POLAR Team for having achieved 5 stage wins (4 by Caudia Galicia and the last one by Sandra Santanyes) and the absolute victory in the female category by Claudia Galicia in one of the most demanding editions of the Titan Desert.

Finally, thank the collaborators of the campaign for their involvement with the project. A Trek for providing the 9 TREK Superfly 100SL Alu Pro personalized with the name of each member of the POLAR Team in addition to the mechanical assistance during the race, to EXTEONDO for the cycling equipment and to POWERBAR for providing sports nutrition.

For the fourth consecutive year, POLAR has brought to the Titan Desert a representation of users of its products, offering them the possibility of living a unique experience together with other bikers.

Now that the adventure of the desert is over, a new adventure begins for lovers of road cycling and passionate about the Tour de France. POLAR RC3 GPS takes you to move mountains in the Pyrenees from 28 to 30 in June.
