Ferrol Triathlon signs Uxío Abuín

El Ferrol Triathlon sum in its ranks to Galician Uxío Abuín. Fulfilling his sixth year in Residence Blume of Madrid, the sub-23 triathlete shares a generation with the bulk of the club's women's team Melina Alonso, Miriam Casillas y Tamara Gómez

Uxío Abuín arrives at the Ferrol Triathlon endorsed by an 2012 in which he won the subchampion of Spain in distance sprint, bronze in olympic, got the ninth place in the Banyoles World Cup and also took the podium in the European Cup Holten being third.

In this way, it faces the current season with international aspirations. "The main objective of this year is to compete a lot internationally, either in European or World Cups, in order to make as many points as possible and qualify for the European and the World sub-23. I would also like to get into the European Championship and be able to gradually enter the circuit of the World Series ", recognizes the triathlete formed in the Padrón Swimming Club.

With the incorporation of Uxío Abuín, the Ferrol Triathlon presents itself with high possibilities of getting on the podium in tests of the Galician duathlon and triathlon circuit in which it participates together with Javichín Pérez, José Luis Louzao, Chema Rodríguez or Chechu Penas.
