Garmin Barcelona opens inscriptions

From this coming Thursday 20 of February to the 12 h any triathlete that wishes it will be able to register in the 2014 edition of the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon, an event that year after year gathers triathletes of all types of level in the city of Barcelona in order to praise both the values ​​of sports competition and those of a healthy and healthy life.

Last year the number of entries was 5200 people and the organization hopes to repeat the great success of assistance that continues to keep this triathlon as the largest participation of the entire Spanish state, the third at European level and the fifth worldwide.

Great satisfaction among the participants

Beyond the numerical data on registrations, one of the greatest successes of the Garmin Barcelona Triathlon has been the increase year after year of its commitment to competitors. The result of all this was noted in the satisfaction survey carried out among the participants of the 2013 edition and in which more than 1000 people took part: an 98% said he had had a good time in the test; to an 96% would like to repeat the experience; and an 97% would recommend it to a friend.

Great expectation

The involvement of the participants and the feedback that the organization wants to generate with them, was demonstrated last week on the official facebook of the event, which already has close to 9000 followers. Through its wall, fans were given the option to choose the official poster of the 2014 edition. In total more than 220 people left reflected their personal opinion, more than 200 shared the election with their friends, and in total the action reached 15.000 people, which shows, in addition, the growing interest in this sport.
