Marcel Zamora signs for Eddy Merckx Cycles
The Catalan triathlete has signed a sponsorship contract with Sportmed, distributor of the Belgian brand Eddy Merckx Cycles, for the next three seasons. Through this contract, Sportmed will sponsor Marcel Zamora (five times winner IM Nice and three of the Embrunman) with bicycles Eddy Merckx.
The triathlete will be able to enjoy the two novelties of the brand this season 2013 and that represent a look to the future, the "new era Eddy Merckx": the EMX-525, that with a natural curvature and thanks to the work done by the engineers of the company has achieved the most balanced bicycle in the market in terms of lightness and stability, it becomes the optimal bicycle for all types of circuits; and the ETT, optimal time trial bike for long distance triathlons, which enjoys technical details such as the 3 "Venturi Power Box" of the lower tube (approved by the UCI) with which it manages to eliminate turbulence while maintaining maximum aerodynamics and stability.
