A man dies while participating in a triathlon in Zaragoza

A man from 37 years has dead yesterday Sunday for natural causes while participating in a triathlon in Zaragoza, in the commercial center of Puerto Venecia.

The deceased, identified as David RC, was participating in a swimming test when he felt bad and tried to grab one of the buoys that separate the streets in the pool, Efe sources have informed the City of Zaragoza.

A lifeguard immediately threw himself into the pool to rescue him and, later, to carry out resuscitation maneuvers in the place, where the emergency service of the Local Police has been moved, among others.

The popular triathlon, which was organized by the Cadena Ser and corresponding to the circuit Sertri, this year for the first time in Puerto Venecia, it seems to have been suspended by the Spanish Federation of Triathlon.
