RTVE will not close Teledeporte

The closing of the TV Teledeporte channel and the inclusion of its main contents in the 2 and by 'streaming' on the internet seems not to be carried out

Although the team of the former president Echenique guaranteed that minority sports such as triathlon could continue to be watched via streaming on its website, but there were many sports federations that conveyed to the Government their discomfort over the closure of Teledeporte.

The new president, José Antonio Sánchez, has decided to close the project that contemplated closing the sports channel to save costs, according to Servimedia sources informed RTVE management.

It even launched a campaign in Change.org where more than 45.000 signatures were collected to prevent the chain from closing.
