Valencia LD 2013 already has a date

The City Council of Valencia, the Municipal Sports Foundation, the Valencian Triathlon Federation and Trisense Sport join forces again in the launch of Valencia LD 2013. The most awaited test of the Valencian Community will offer this year 1.300 places with the intention of consolidating the bet of the Valencian capital in the long distance.

In this second edition, the organization bets for a change of date and calls the triathletes to be part of this "challenge for heroes" next 2 June 2013. The competition is presented with 1.900 meters of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21 km of running, in circuits that aim to combine spectacle and safety.

A unique experience with a new circuit

After hosting the Spanish Championship at 2012, the Valencia LD organization is working on a new cyclist circuit, without drafting, which will leave the city in a northerly direction to get closer to the Sierra Calderona. Swimming will take place in the calm waters of the Juan Carlos I Royal Marina, where the ships of the America's Cup once plowed. To finish, the race on foot will approach the Mediterranean Sea to extend along the promenade.
