Miguel Induráin has participated this year in a particular Madrid-Segovia MTB.

After the 2020 test was suspended due to the pandemic, Miguel Indurain made a stretch of 45 kilometers between the Madrid town of Cercedilla and Segovia on the date that more than 1.000 cyclists should have participated.

With this route, carried out with 20 other people, Induráin has once again got on a studded wheel bike after he did it previously in RESET, the MTB time-trial that marked the return to the world of competition after confinement.

The Madrid Segovia MTB is one of the most important and demanding ultramarathon races in our country.

This year, as it could not be carried out, the organization, together with Banco Santander, have decided to carry out this symbolic act in order not to lose the tradition of crossing the world's largest goal arch: the Segovian aqueduct.

The Madrid-Segovia MTB has six editions behind it. 117 kilometers of route and 2.340 meters of accumulated unevenness running through the Sierra del Guadarrama and the spectacular surroundings of its Natural Park.

A beginning under the watchful eye of the four tallest skyscrapers in Spain and an end under the most impressive goal arch in the world: the Segovian aqueduct.

The test will return with more force, if the pandemic allows it, in the year 2021, when its seventh edition will be held.
