Victor del Corral talks about his book Triathlon for Dummies

The book is neither more nor less than a complete guide of triathlon, from history, regulations, material, training, nutrition, to competition

Since Triathlon News we wanted to ask  Víctor del Corral about his book, Triathlon for Dummies that you can already buy in all libraries

How did the idea of writing the book come about?

The proposal comes from the Editorial Planeta itself although the book itself is a bit the story of my life. A boy who excelled in MTB but who left him, who climbed the mountain to climb, climb peaks and run through the mountain, who dared to try the duathlon cros, and was hooked, always looking for new challenges tried the duathlon of road, and one day decided to jump into the water, do triathlon and pose the challenge of making an Ironman, and finally here, in the long distance triathlon, he found his element, the challenge and the passion he needed to dedicate himself and enjoy each day to the fullest.

Who is it geared towards?

It is aimed at all those who, for whatever reason, have lost motivation for what they do, who seek to get out of the routine that sometimes practicing a single sport leads to, to all those who want to consider the challenge of doing a triathlon but do not know where to start, to those who are looking for another point of view that may help them improve, and finally also to those who want to discover for themselves if this Víctor del Corral speaks with knowledge of the facts or if not loose more than nonsense. 😉

Tell us a little, which is what counts

The book is neither more nor less than a complete guide of triathlon, from history, regulations, material, training, nutrition, to competition. A book that goes from 0 to 100, that will help and motivate those who are starting and will bring interesting information and advice to all those who have been practicing it for a long time.

Where can you buy?

From the 9 of February, in all the bookstores.

Who do you dedicate it to?

To all those lovers of sports and life, triathletes or not, who always seek to excel in their day to day, and enjoy every minute as if it were the last.

Since you have started in the publishing world, will you be encouraged to write a book for long distance?

In Triathlon for Dummies the theme of long distance is touched, as I always say I think that everyone should live the experience of preparing and the challenge of completing an IronMan, although to pose it with guarantees it is good to take a certain shooting.

That does not mean that in the future a specific book can be published for long distance ... time will tell. ????
