The camera is capable of record images with an angle of 120 degrees and the system incorporates a sensor to detect accidents and when a collision occurs, a security protocol is activated to save the images in a file and prevent them from being erased; Regarding the battery, it provides the device with 24-hour autonomy and also, for those who need a device with a greater recording capacity, a model with 32 Gb of memory has also been made available to users. 

The idea of ​​manufacturing a black box for bicycles came to Cedric Bosh after a friend of his suffered a serious accident, in which the causes of it could never be determined due to lack of evidence, so it was there that he understood that he should manufacture a system that will help improve the safety conditions of all cyclists. 

In recent years, the number of trips by bicycle has grown, which is why it has become an alternative means of transport in large capitals. Although its advantages as a means of transport are many, in the field of safety there is still a long way to go, especially in urban centers where an adequate network of bike lanes is not yet enabled, or in societies where vehicle drivers are not used to living with cyclists.

Rideye is ready for commercialization after many years of changes in the diverse and primitive designed prototypes. Its sale is scheduled to begin at Christmas, at a price of around $ 150.
