TomTom launches GPS Runner Cardio sports watch with integrated heart rate monitor

TomTom has launched the sports watch GPS TomTom Runner Cardio that incorporates technology pulsometer, so that the broker can check their pulse directly through the device without the need to include a separate band, according to the company in a statement.

 

 

With the TomTom Runner Cardio, runners can select one of the five intensity zones and receive alerts to see if they need to increase or decrease speed. In a single glance and in real time they will have the information of pulse, distance, rhythm and other parameters during the race.

So with the launch of the TomTom Runner Cardio GPS sports watch, all runners will be able to easily use the heart rate monitor to improve performance. in their training ”, explained the general manager of TomTom's consumer division, Corinne Vigreux.

 

The TomTom Runner Cardio watch, which is already available in http://sports.tomtom.com/es_es/, measures the pulse thanks to the Mio optical sensor, which captures variations in blood flow through the skin.

 

Easy to use, because it has a unique control button to scroll through the menus, allows you to track the race indoors and on a treadmill. In addition, its 'QuickGPSfix' technology helps you find the exact position quickly in order to start running.

 

It is water resistant to a depth of 50 meters or 5 atmospheres and its battery has a range of up to 8 hours in GPS + cardio mode and reaches 10 in GPS mode only, in addition to allowing connectivity via 'Bluetooth Smart' .
