The WTCS Abu Dhabi 2024 Startlist
The international triathlon circuit sets its sights on Abu Dhabi, where the exciting 8 season of the World Triathlon Series (WTCS) will begin on March 2024.
This event plays a important role for RoadtoParis, since it is one of the last opportunities to qualify for the JParis 2024 Olympic Games.
Spaniards in the test
The Spanish representation in Abu Dhabi will have the presence of eight triathletes, divided into male and female categories.
In the male category, Roberto Sánchez Mantecón, Antonio Serrat y Sergio Baxter are among those registered, while that David Castro y Alberto González They are also looking to gain a foothold in the competition.
The women's category has Miriam Casillas, Noelia Juan y Anna Godoy, who have already secured their participation in this first stop on the world circuit.
The test will be played over distance sprint.
Favorites
On the starting list we find triathletes like Alex Yee, Kristian Blummenfelt, Vicent Lus, Marten Van Riel, Taylor Knibb, Georgia Taylor-Brown, Gwen Jorgensen or Taylor Spivey among others.
But it must be taken into account that this test coincides with the first event of the T100 Triathlon Tour in Miami and there may be cancellations or last minute registrations.
