El Poolmate2 is the new sports watch for swimming from the specialized firm Swimovate. The new model presents a series of improvements with respect to its predecessor, the most important of all is undoubtedly the mode for swimming in open water.

The Poolmate2 now allows you to register practically all the necessary parameters for the training analysis: strokes, distance, speed, efficiency, duration, breaks and caloric expenditure. For accurate measurement in open water, the device has a built-in accelerometer that works similarly to the pedometers used in the running race. This system allows, in addition to precise measurements, a great saving in battery, since you do not need a GPS for its operation. And it is that the low consumption is another of the strong points of the Poolmate2, it consumes so little energy that its battery can last up to two years.

Of course, the Poolmate2 is also suitable for the pool training and is able to store up to fifty training sessions in its memory that can be downloaded to the computer. The device allows to accumulate both the total data of a training, as the series made in it.

The screen has also been improved in this new version. The diameter of the sphere is now 40 mm, which allows larger digits and a greater contrast of information.
