Curiosities of the Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote 2017

Yesterday, the sixth edition of the Club La Santa Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote where several curiosities occurred that we want to highlight

1.- The Spanish Emilio Aguayo debuts at Ironman 70.3 Through the front door! achieving a deserved 2º put the podium.

2.- In the female event the winner Anne Haug get the victory thanks to his run on foot, managing to overcome positions and finishing the half marathon with a time of 01: 18: 14  

3.- There was no request for a hand, but if there were two years ago, and the same couple decided to return this 2017 and participate once again in the 70.3 of Lanzarote.

4.- If there was "Honeymoon", A couple of newlyweds decided as a destination for their Honey Moon" La Santa "and to celebrate one of them competed during the weekend at the 70.3, Kenneth Gasque did not hesitate to raise them to the podium to give them an award in recognition.

5.- The attraction of the goal was undoubtedly the "recovery bathtub", Details" that make the difference "

 6º- Spain leads the test, with a greater representation, being the second country Great Britain and later Italy.

7º- We had Spanish 4 in the TOP 10 in elite category: Emilio Aguayo, Albert Moreno y Ricardo Hernández in the male category. In female the young Ana Noguera He did an excellent performance finishing in 5ª position.

8ª.- Ximo Rubert, Dear and recognized organizer of the NDS circuit, completes his 6º Ironman 70.3 of Lanzarote, where he has not missed a single edition. It seems that the race did not involve too much effort and at night we could also see him as Speaker making the awards ceremony. An example without a doubt!

Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote it differs for being a test not crowded which also gives great possibilities to achieve a Slot for the 70.3 World Championship by offering 50 seats. It is an event that stands out for a very calm swimming in "The lake" of La Santa, a 100% cyclist tour closed to traffic and a fast foot race.

Next year the test changes of weekend will take place the 22 of September 2018, all the information and inscriptions
