The ex-cyclist Thomas Voeckler will try the triathlon

He has confirmed in Cyclisme magazine that he will participate in the Ironman 70.3 Sables d'Olonnes, in France on June 16.

The exciter Thomas Voeckler The 39-year-old will follow in the footsteps of other athletes who decided to try triathlon after retiring from professional sports. Will do it in the Ironman 70.3 Sables d'Olonnes (France) the next June 16.

He will do it in the relay event, doing the cycling segment, in a team created by the sports nutrition brand MX 3. His teammates will be Mathis Rocard (Swimming) and Julian Cougnaud (race on foot).

After almost 16 years of racing, the French cyclist has achieved great sporting successes, such as four stages in the Tour de France, a fourth place overall in 2011 and the mountain classification in 2012 among other titles.
