In the XXV edition of the test big Ironman triathletes will meet
The next 21 of May, the island of Lanzarote will host the XXV edition of the Club la Santa Ironman Lanzarote where some of the best triathletes of the specialty have confirmed their participation in the test.
Last year the winners were Alessandro Digasperi y Diana Reisler where the German will seek a new victory.
This event will bring together 1.900 participants from 48 different nationalities this year, where Spanish and British are the most represented.
We have compiled the best boys and girls who have confirmed their participation.
TOP MEN
Jan Frodeno
On the starting list will be the current Ironman World Champion Jan Frodeno that will surely try to fight to beat the record of the test that is in a time 8:30:34 achieved by TImo Bracht in 2011.
Timo Bracht
Winner in 2011 and holder of the test record, was winner of the Ironman Mallorca last year and will fight to be at the top of the podium
Miquel Blanchart
Miquel runner-up in 2013 and 2014, participated last year getting a great 4 position, repeated with the aim of improving his performance and seek the classification for Kona.
Ivan Raña
Ivan Raña, who this year has announced that he will only participate in two IRONMAN events this year, Lanzarote and Kona, will go out for all this year.
Jesse Thomas
The American athlete comes from winning for the sixth time in a row the Wildflower Long Course Triathlon, is in good shape
David McNamee
Winner of the Ironman UK and eleventh in the World Championship in 2015, he will surely be a rival to watch in the race.
TOP WOMEN
Diana Riesler
2015 champion will seek to repeat victory this year.
Caroline Livesey
She was third last year and she will surely try to be in the top positions with the goal of seeking her qualification for Kona.
Tine Holst
Second in the Iornman VIchy last year, she comes from making a sixth place in the Ironman 70.3 in Brazil.
Anne Jensen
He was sixth last year and will try to fight to be as high as possible.

Departure schedule
The test will start at the 7: 00 AM of the 21 of May with the professional output and can be followed live through the official Ironman website.
