IRONMAN donates $ 75.000 to those affected by the fires in Australia

The brand makes a call for all athletes to help

What is happening in Australia is a environmental catastrophe where about 10 million hectares have been burned.

The fire has been devastating Australia for several months and has already caused the death of 28 people and up to one billion wild animals.

The state of New South Wales, the most affected in the country, accumulates 150 active bulbs, which has led to decree several times the state of emergency.

That's why IRONMAN has decided donate 75.000 dollars to those affected for these fires through its Foundation.

In their social networks, IRONMAN published

"Our thoughts are with those affected by the terrible forest fires in Australia.

We know that many of our athletes, volunteers, staff, stakeholders and emergency teams have been directly affected and still face a long battle ahead.

We are proud that many of our events are held in Australia and from the IRONMAN Group we are committed to helping these communities rebuild.

Today, the IRONMAN Foundation has launched a Global Humanitarian Aid Campaign to support those affected.

That is why 100% of the proceeds raised will go to a number of groups and programs in Australia, including the Australian Red Cross, Port Macquarie Koala Hospital and the Blue Mountains Bushfire Mayoral Relief Fund."
