Jan Frodeno and Daniela Ryf win the Ironman European Championship

The German has won his compatriot Patrick Lange and Daniela Ryf with a spectacular race takes 26 minutes to the second classified. Saleta Castro finishes in the tenth position.

Proof of this was the presence of World Champions as Jan Frodeno  (2015, 2016)  Patrik Lange (2017) and Daniela Ryf (2015, 2016, 2017). Saleta Castro She was the only Spanish representative in the race, where she was looking for points for the Hawaii classification.

Male test

In the race on foot, Frodeno reached the first position where he was gradually increasing the advantage over Lange by passing the 13 race km to 1: 14. Finally Jan Frodeno, got the victory with a final time of 8: 00: 58 followed by Patrick Nilsson (08: 08: 15) and for Patrick Lange (08: 09: 26) in third position
