It will be the debut in an Ironman 70.3 test of the double Olympic Champion

The Ironman World Champion in 2014 and Ironman 70.3 Sebastian Kienle and the double Olympic and World Triathlon ITU Champion Alistair Bronwlee will face each other in their first duel in the distance in the Ironman 70.3 ST. George next May 6, the two are on the starting list of the test and it will mean the debut in the distance of the British.

This test is one of the most important that opens the season where they have won Lionel Sanders, Tim Dom, Jan Frodeno or Brent McMahon. The test is the North American Championship and it's a KPR1500 so that the winner would be qualified for the World Championship and would not have to run any other test beyond the 2 of July.

In this year's list of departure we find Tyler Butterfield, Kevin Collington, Tim Don, Ben Hoffman, Brent McMahon, Andreas Raelert y Joe Gambles although it may be that Lionel Sanders or Frodeno sign up at the last minute as it will be a unique occasion since everyone would like to face the double Olympic champion in his debut in the middle distance.

Alistair did not have a good performance in the Super Legue Triathlon but it seems that he is already in a good shape as last weekend he finished third in a 50 miles (80,4km)
