One month for Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 LANZAROTE

The cycling segment will have a new route that will pass through the heart of the island

 300 participants from 17 countries are prepared to face the challenge of their lives, the prestigious Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote in its 6th edition, on Saturday, September 2.

The list of participants of the Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote 2017 continues to grow and so does the number of professional runners among the athletes. The British Lucy Charles crowned a fantastic first semester of 2017, runner-up in the IRONMAN European Championship in Frankfurt (Germany) and confirmed the next day that she will race at Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote, staying 6 weeks at Club La Santa to get the best possible form, and will also run the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

Men: Romain Guillaume (FRA, winner 2016), Kenneth Vandendriessche (BEL, European Champion Duathlon) 
 
Women: Lucy Charles (GBR, Ironman Lanzarote 2017 winner), Alexandra Tondeur (BEL, runner-up Ironman Lanzarote 2016)
 
NEW ROUTE:

As a novelty, a new route has been designed in the bicycle segment that will pass through the heart of the island, crossing the volcanic landscapes of the mountains of fire and the wineries of La Geria.
