What does the new regulation consist of?

Regarding participation, and from the month of September, it must be documented that they have received the complete vaccination schedule, or they have passed COVID 19, within the preceding 6 months, or ultimately, that they have undergone a negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to the visit or a rapid c antigen testwith the same result within 48 hours prior to the visit.

Likewise, athletes will responsibly declare that in the last fourteen days they have not had any symptoms compatible with COVID-19, that they have not obtained a result compatible with the presence of active infection in a diagnostic test for COVID-19, that they have not lived together with people who have been declared a confirmed case of COVID-19 and who have not had close contact with patients due to COVID-19.

This measure represents another step so that, with the celebration of important sporting events in the months of September and October, the tourist season can be extended and thus contribute to the economic reactivation of the islands.
