In the world of triathlon, the figure of the technical official is essential for the correct development of competitions.  

The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) offers a unique opportunity for those passionate about the sport who wish to take a step further in their involvement with this discipline: the Level 1 Triathlon Technical Officials Course. 

Structure and Content of the Course 

The course is divided into two essential parts. The first is the theoretical part, which will be carried out in a virtual classroom and in a face-to-face session, totaling 13 hours dedicated to studying the regulations.  

This phase will take place between January 13, 14 and 20, providing applicants with in-depth and detailed knowledge of the regulations that govern triathlon. 

The second part is practical and is based on the application of what was learned in three events within the regional calendar.  

It is important to highlight that these practices do not include state or international competitions, nor popular competitions, focusing on specific events that allow a comprehensive learning experience.

With an investment of €50, participants not only access the teaching material and the experience of qualified professionals, but also receive a Triathlon Official t-shirt, accident insurance for the practical days and, upon successful completion of the course, an accrediting diploma.

It is important to keep in mind that the cost of the license and uniformity required to practice as an officer are not included in the course registration and will depend on each Autonomous Federation.
