The FETRI opens registration for its January tests 

The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) announces the opening of registrations for its competitions during the month of January 2024.  

This announcement marks the start of an exciting season for triathletes across the country, offering a variety of events that promise to challenge and delight participants and spectators alike. 

Staggered Opening of Registrations 

Registration for FETRI competitions will open in a staggered manner. 

On January 10, registrations opened for the two qualifiers of the Spanish Duathlon Championship, in Águilas on February 4, and in Villafranca de los Barros, on March 16.  

Registrations were also opened for the Spanish individual Duathlon championships, on April 6 in Avilés; and for the Spanish Winter Triathlon Championship, which will take place in Ansó on February 18; as well as for the Elite category in the national Middle Distance Duathlon in Híjar and the Middle Distance Triathlon in Pamplona. 

On January 17, registration will open for the Club, Duathlon and Talent Triathlon Leagues and for clubs participating in the Third Division of the National Duathlon Club League, and for the Men's League and the Iberdrola Triathlon League. 

Finally, on January 24, registrations will open for the rest of the FETRI competitions in 2024. 

Price Changes  

It is important to highlight that the Híjar Spanish Middle Distance Duathlon Championship is in the second and last price bracket for registrations, until they close on January 29.  

There will be no changes in the national Middle Distance Triathlon and Aquabike until the closure on April 29; while the Spanish Triathlon and Aquabike Championship presents a single rate until closing on May 15.  

In the Spanish Medium and Long Distance Triathlon Cup in Ibiza, with the PTO circuit test, registration is also open, with price brackets depending on the numbers that can be consulted in the test sheet at live.triathlon.org.
