Santander City Olympic Triathlon: Sport, Tourism and Solidarity in its 5th edition
El Olympic Triathlon City of Santander, one of the most charismatic events in northern Spain, is preparing for its fifth edition.
The test will be held on September 10 and is the perfect combination of sport and tourism, offering participants the opportunity to compete in the beautiful city of Santander.
The test format will be developed in Olympic distance, although with slight modifications They add a little more excitement to the competition.
1.500 m of swimming, 48 km of cycling and 11 km of running.
The event, which will begin at 10:00, will be limited to 600 participants to ensure safe and well-organized competition.
This year, attractive economic prizes and gifts are established for the top ten classified in both categories, male and female.
Prizes range from €1.200 for first place to €100 for sixth through eighth places.
The swimming course will be 1.500 meters, while the cycling segment will be 48 km and will be completely closed to traffic, thus ensuring the integrity of all participants.

This year, the Ciudad de Santander Triathlon collaborates with the Quality in Dependency Foundation, to which 7% of the registration of the participants in the test will be allocated.
This foundation works for the prevention, normalization, protection and well-being of people with any type of disability, situation of dependency and/or risk of social exclusion for physical or psychological reasons, and at all ages.
Santander, known for its port and its beaches, is a city full of charm.
Visitors can enjoy places such as the Santander Cathedral, the Magdalena Palace and the Cabárceno Nature Park, among others.
In addition, the city offers a wide range of restaurants and bars where you can taste local dishes and Spanish wines.
