The Malaga ProTour Startlist
On October 21, Malaga will become the epicenter of the Spanish and international triathlon with the celebration of the Test Event, an event co-organized by the Junta de Andalucía and the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
This multifaceted event will include the children's test of the Pho3nix Kids By Javi Gómez Noya, Paralympic Triathlon World Cup, as well as the FETRI ProTour, one of the most exciting events on the world triathlon circuit.
This unprecedented event is the result of collaboration between the Junta de Andalucía and the Spanish Triathlon Federation. The setting will be the surroundings of Pier One, which promises to offer spectacular conditions for both triathletes and spectators.
Test Format
The FETRI ProTour is characterized by its Super Sprint distance qualifying format, which makes it a very demanding and exciting test.
According to Iñaki Arenal, Spanish Triathlon Coach, “it is a complex test because you have to go very fast, but at the same time you have to have great resistance.”

ProTour history
This will be the third edition of the FETRI ProTour, which had its debut in 2019 in Pontevedra and whose last edition was held in Madrid in 2021.
