The Santander City Olympic Triathlon will be held in September

One more year one of the most charismatic triathlons in northern Spain will return to the scene, the Santander City Triathlon

This event, which has become a ideal date to end the summer competing will be held next September 10, starting at 10:00 a.m.

This triathlon runs through the beautiful city of Santander, where this year Limited participation to 600 triathletes, which will guarantee a great competition for all its participants.

The test will be held in the Olympic distance format, but with a small adaptation in cycling and running.

Participants will have to swim 1.500 meters, cycle 48 kilometers and run 11 kilometers.

Importantly drafting is not allowed (go to wheel), however, the use of the "goat" will be allowed.

Cash Prizes

The Santander City Olympic Triathlon offers cash prizes for absolute categories, both male and female.

This year, the amounts for the first classified have increased, which adds an extra incentive for competitors.

Prizes are distributed as follows:

• 1nd – €1.200 + gift
• 2nd – €700 + gift
• 3nd – €500 + gift
• 4nd – €300 + gift
• 5nd – €200 + gift
• 6th to 8th – €100 + gift

In addition, it establishes sportsmanship/commitment/merit award in the Ciudad de Santander Triathlon, whose verdict is the responsibility of the organization and whose jury will be made up of sports journalists.

Registrations

The price per participant varies according to the registration date. Prices are as follows:

• From February 13 to July 15: €55
• From July 16 to August 15: €65
• From August 16 to September 7: €75
