IRONMAN will not hold any more events in the USA this 2020.

The IRONMAN franchise has announced that it will not hold any more events in the United States this 2020.

The news has been made public, after the suspension of IROMAN 70.3 Florida which was to be played in December in Haines City.

IRONMAN had recently been forced to cancel Arizona tests (Ironman Arizona and Rock 'n' Roll Arizona), Tennessee (Rock 'n' Roll Nashville) and Texas (Ironman 70.3 Texas-Galveston and Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio).

According to a statement from the company, “the dramatic change in conditions, particularly in Arizona, Florida and Texas, has changed the ability to organize events responsibly.

With COVID-19 infections on the rise in the United States, we are not comfortable hosting more events in 2020, ”said Andrew Messick, President and CEO of Ironman Group.

While we are confident that our Safe Return to Racing Guidelines will protect athletes, volunteers, and staff, the public health environment at this time is not conducive to any kind of mass rallies.. "
