Felipe Gutiérrez talks to us about the annual meeting of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.

 

 

Well no, I do not understand. A couple of years ago a series of triathletes were presented to the Assembly in order to represent the athletes of the Spanish triathlon federation.

Last Sunday was the Annual Meeting where you debate what you want to discuss, where you should go to defend the rights of triathletes and of the nine, it was only one.

There he was Juan Victor CandellI do not know if he intervened or not, if I support or vote against if they had to vote, but I do know that eight were not. Maybe everyone has their excuse, I don't know, that's why I've written (I've left a message on their private Facebook, maybe they haven't seen it or maybe they don't know what to answer or they simply don't want to answer) at eight, to find out which one has been the problem and to find out the reason for not attending this Assembly.

Moment a little disappointing since it seems to me that more than representing the Spanish triathlon, two years ago they entered into a process of support of a candidate and overthrow the current President of the Fetri, Jose Hidalgo.

They did not go well and I think that at those dates they were "managed" and their absence from the assembly gives me a bit of a footing to say it. I know that many people think like me, although I do not say it, nobody wants problems, but this is what you have to denounce and that the rest of the athletes know.

I sincerely believe that it would be more honest that they had resigned when they saw that "their interests" had not gone forward. I think a lot of people support them because with those names of sports quality people are excited and thought they would do something for others.

Well I guess someone will answer me and so I will understand something more, surely someone after this column will never speak to me again (a few more does not happen either), but I want to know what is happening.

Sorry, I have not received any more replies, I know some of them are in permanent concentration preparing tests for the world, but I think that none of them apologized for not attending and that is what I really do not understand.

Of course, whether they go or not can solve what they say must be solved and even after those acts of "plante" in the league of clubs a couple of years ago, I miss the absence even more.
