The siesta time by Felipe Gutiérrez: NO TO THE DOPING

The triathlon has returned to be machado by doping

The truth is that in my hour of siesta I get a news that undoubtedly saddens me, the triathlon is again stained.

A sub 23 enters the lists of those sanctioned for doping. I am not making anything up because the news has been published on the page of the Higher Sports Council, here you can read it: https://sanciona2.aepsad.gob.es/Consultas and it says: Francisco Ríos Gómez - TRIATLON

Article 22.1 a) of the LOPSD Failure to comply with the obligations referred to in the previous article, which results in the detection of the presence of any quantity of a prohibited substance, or of its metabolites or markers, in the physical samples of a Notwithstanding the foregoing, the list of prohibited substances and methods provided for in article 4 of this Law may provide a quantification limit for certain substances or special evaluation criteria to evaluate the detection of prohibited substances.

Disqualification of 2 years loss of points automatic nullity of the result obtained in the Spanish Triathlon Championship held in the Alcázares (Murcia); The 07 / 09 / 2015 ends its sanction.

The curious thing is that in the classifications of the Fetri still comes this "illuminated" that something took to be 5 in 20-24 and 28 in Sub 23, although his best triumph is to stain the sport of triathlon.

It was clear that the digital newspapers were soon going to put something, here you can read:

Finally, the Anti-Doping Agency has published the first eight positives of a "very serious" nature.

"The footballer Benítez (Granada), positive with cocaine, and the athletes Sergio Sánchez (3.000 world runner-up in 2010) and Alberto Lozano, which were detected EPO in the 2013 Spain Championships, are the best known cases.

The list is completed by Chamberlain Emeka Oguchi (basketball), José Manuel Romero (motonautics), Alberto Carlos Jiménez and Jesús Corpas (both from kayak polo, a sport assigned to Canoeing) and Francisco Ríos (triathlon). All of them were sanctioned with two years of suspension.

The article 39.9 of the organic law of June of 2013 of Protection of the Health and Fight against Doping establishes that "The resolutions that impose sanctions for the commission of very serious infractions will be object of publication on the part of the organ that would have dictated them" In this case the body is the Spanish Anti-Doping Agency, called from the new law by the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Health in Sport (AEPSAD). This measure also meets Article 14.2 of the WADA Worldwide Code. "

I'm sorry, but those two years I think that if someone is doped is very little, now would have to know who helped this kid to dope. Doctors, friends, relatives? Someone should accompany you in the sanction.

At the moment TRIATLÓN is again stained and I do not know if it has been worth it to get those poor results and a few times of 21'36 "in swimming, 1: 01'36" by bike and 36'28 "in race with a 1 time: 59'40 "in meta. Of grief, all of pity and does not deserve to give you more of those two seconds of "fame" (of bad reputation) that you have managed to have.

Let's hope for better weeks.

Felipe Gutiérrez
